Matt Thomas is a Welsh artist and visual designer exploring how place identity and environment shape contemporary culture. His work spans digital illustration paint and production design merging traditional craft with experimental digital workflows.

Recent credits include art department roles on It’s My Shout BBC’s Pobol y Cwm and S4C’s Anfamol Series 2. He also produces commissioned artwork and has exhibited across Wales.

Outside the studio Matt is a Scout Leader with 1st Hirwaun Scouts embedding creativity problem solving and adventure into community experience. Those values continue to influence his artistic practice and future ambitions.

He is currently focused on developing more immersive world building projects and expanding his practice across screen art and environmental storytelling.
